My Story
Kimberly Hayman is the founder and Executive Director Director of Ashley’s Kloset. Founded in memory of her daughter Ashley, who passed away in 2017, Kimberly has always shown compassion for families taking care of children with disabilities and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of families and the community. She believes in being mission-driven and data-informed and is responsible for defining and implementing the foundation’s overall business and marketing strategic plans.
A seasoned registered nurse, administrator, educator, coach and mentor, Kimberly has over 30 years of combined senior-level management experience in hospital, university, and local/state government level settings, working directly for and with local communities, as well as state-wide, national and population health-based organizations. Her background includes project management, federal/state/local level program technical assistance, and research orientation. She excels at spearheading a full range of tasks related to leadership, workforce development and program administration with limited resources and tools.
Kimberly and her husband Reginald have been married for 38 years. In her spare time, she enjoys thrifting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
